Copying schemas to another computer
« on: February 16, 2014, 05:36:22 PM »
Hi

I need to copy schemas I've created with my laptop to my desktop computer. How can I do this?

Hi,

at the moment, there is no simple way to accomplish this. This data is binary saved in the registry but it cannot be extracted easily without a specific tool. And we have no recommendation for such a tool at the moment.

The only way to accomplish what you need is reconstructing your schemas per hand.

We are afraid we have no better news for you today.

Thank you very much for your interest and all the best,

That sucks. It's not just about moving stuff to another computer, now it's impossible to have a backup. Schemas are huge and I've created my own custom sums and custom ranges too. Manual copying is absurd, one workday wouldn't be enough for the task.  Let's hope we'll get an update and for this before my laptop gets broken...

export your registry.
It seems the hand schemas are in key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Elypson\PokerRanger\HandSelection\handGroupTickSchemaPool

was looking on how to sort the schemas and bumped into this thread.
